Participation and participation fee
The NL JUDO Open tournament is approved by the Dutch Judo Federation (Judo Bond Nederland). All judoplayers with a membership of a judofederation officially recognized by the International Judo Federation are welcome to participate.
The participation fee will be € 19,– per participant, paid before the registration deadline.
The maximum number of participants will be approximately 500 – 550 judoplayers. We will register extra reserve players and add them to the participation list if it is possible within the program. Results of national championships or European Cups will be taken into account in case of oversubscription.
Dutch players register at the official tournament website of the Dutch Judo Federation.

Competition System
Draw with double repechage competition in all categories of six players or more. Double repechage has an elimination round and a repechage; all players are guaranteed to fight twice or more.
Round Robin pool competition in categories of five or four players. Weightcategories of three players or less will be cancelled or merged with another categorie if possible.
In the 18+ Topcategory the champion will be awarded with a Lion 750 Authentic judogi in categories with 6 players or more!
Weigh-in rules
All participants have to be present at the weigh-in time as stated on the program and accreditation. At the weigh-in the accreditation and proper judodocuments have to be shown, like the membership card/ of the federation where a judoplayer is affiliated. At the official weigh-in on the tournament day the maximum tolerance of a weight category is 300 grams. At the optional weigh-in on friday the maximum tolerance of a weight category is 100 grams.
Changing from weight category on the competition day is not possible. Weight changes can be send to info@nljudo.nl until Thursday september 18th at 22.00 hrs (10 pm).
Coach accreditation
coach-accreditation will be available and limited based on the number of players.

Entrance stand
The entrance fee for the stand will be 5 euro per person. Tickets can be bought at the entrance by debit card digital payment (Pin). The venue is open from 7:30 hrs

Liability and privacy statement
Participation is at your own risk. Judo Yushi or its volunteers aren’t responsible in any way for injuries or lost properties, before, during or after the tournament and trainingcamp.
By Registering you automatically give Judo Yushi permission to post content, photo and film at official media of Judo Yushi.
Live TV broadcast
A live broadcast of the u15, u18 and +18 agecategories will be streamed at judoyushi.nl/tv
Photo footage will be shown on instagram at https://www.instagram.com/judoyushi/

Training before the tournament
The dojo at Judo Yushi will be open upon request on Friday between 12.00 hrs and 15.30 hrs.
Trainingcamp
trainingcamp will be organised by Judo Yushi the day after the tournament on Sunday. Participation fee will be 15 euro per participant. An accreditition is needed to acces the trainingvenue and will only be issued on payment before the deadline on September 5th.
